Circular Mold granulator, (also known as: ring die pellet feed machine), belongs to the feed pelleting equipment, which can directly suppress crushed corn, crushed soybean meal, crushed straw, crushed rice husks and other crushed materials into pellet feed. Circular Mold granulator is a kind of feed granulator equipment.

  • 1. Ring die pellet mill covers a small area, with simple structure, wide adaptability and low noise.
  • 2. Powdered materials and grass meal can be pelletized with a little liquid or without liquid, so the moisture of pellet feed is equal to that of powder before granulation, more suitable for storage.
  • 3. The returns of mixed powdered feed are higher.
  • 4. The feed pellets made by ring die pellet mill have higher hardness, smooth surface and cured inner, can improve nutrient digestion and absorption.
  • 5. The feed pellets made by ring die pellet mill can reduce the adverse effect of digestion, kill parasite eggs and other pathogenic microorganisms, and reduce all kinds of pests and digestive system disease.

Contrast of working principle between flat die pellet mill and ring die pellet mill:

  • 1. feeding mode:

    Ring die pellet mill adopts mechanical forced feeding mode, distributes materials into granulation chamber under high-speed rotating centrifugal force through scraper, so the feeding is not uniform; While flat die pellet mill feeds by the weight of materials, so its feeding is uniform.

  • 2. Pressure:

    Under the same diameter of mold, the diameter of ring mould wheel is limited by the diameter of the ring die mould, so the pressure is limited; The diameter of flat mould wheel is not limited by the diameter of the mold, so users can increase the inside bearing space or select larger bearing to increase the bearing capacity of wheel, which not only increases the pressing force of the wheel, but also extends its service life.

  • 3. Discharging mode:

    Ring die pellet machine has high speed, so discharged material has high breakage rate; while flat die pellet machine has low speed, with low breakage rate of discharged material.

  • 4. Pinch roller adjustment method:

    Ring die pellet mill uses the two screws on the eccentric gear in the middle of pinch roller to adjust the pressure; while flat die pellet mill uses screw thread center regulating mechanism to adjust the pressure, with jacking force of hundreds of tons, steady falling, gentle striking and even pressure. Rotation manual and automatic hydraulic adjusting modes can be used.

From the contrast between flat die pellet mill and ring die pellet mill, we can see that the pressure of flat die pellet mill is higher than ring die pellet mill, so flat die pellet mill is better for material like wood chips, straw and other materials with light weight and difficult in forming.
