Project Overview
Main Equipment:
Adopting the jaw and cone crusher laminated crushing scheme, it extends wear-part service life for continuous processing of highly abrasive basalt, controls aggregate flakiness and meets local road aggregate standards.
The crushing plant is well-configured with strong continuous running capacity. It stably reaches the designed 200 TPH capacity to guarantee consistent aggregate supply and meet the project's long-term material demand.
Adjustable crushing cavity stably produces multi-size aggregates: 0–5 mm, 5–15 mm, 15–30 mm, for concrete and road base construction to meet diverse order demands.
The customer is a local quarry and infrastructure contractor in Ethiopia, planning to process basalt ore and supply aggregates for local highway and municipal projects. Basalt is hard and highly abrasive. Local infrastructure projects enforce strict standards on aggregate shape, so the customer requires a reliable basalt crushing plant with adjustable particle sizes.
The crushing plant runs steadily at 200 TPH after commissioning. Multi-size aggregates with regular shapes suit different project needs. Wear parts last as expected, reducing maintenance shutdowns. Dust and noise meet standards, lowering long-term operation and maintenance costs. The customer is satisfied with its stable performance and aggregate quality.
