Project Overview
Main Equipment:
Impact crushing cuts flaky particles, ideal for local lime calcination. Graded output satisfies strict raw material requirements of lime kilns.
Modular frame design allows fast access for liner and hammer replacement. Maintenance work can be finished within a short window without full shutdown.
Dry dust collection system fits Zambia’s water-short quarry areas. Operators comply with local environmental rules without extra water supply.
This client is a seasoned local limestone producer with over 12 years in the quarry business. To expand their product portfolio and secure higher-margin lime-grade stone orders, they sought a dedicated crushing line that can consistently produce well-shaped limestone, while adapting to the region’s scarce water resources. FTM customized this two-stage impact crushing solution to match their long-term supply contracts.
The cubic, low-flakiness limestone helps the client qualify for premium pricing from lime plants. Independent lime-grade stone supply separates them from generic aggregate sellers in the district, raising their profit margin per tonne and locking longer-term high-value supply agreements.
