Working principle
When Symons cone crusher works, the motor drives the eccentric sleeve rotating through the V-belt, the large pulley, the transmission shaft, the bevel gear, and the large bevel gear.
The conical shaft core rotates and moves by the driving of the eccentric sleeve, causing the surface of the broken wall to be close or leave the surface of the rolling wall, therefore, the material is continuously crushed by the crushing and bending in the annular crushing cavity composed of the fixed cone and the moving cone.
After multiple extrusion impacts and bending, the material is crushed to the required particle size and discharged through the lower portion.

How to use and maintain Symons cone crusher
The maintenance and application
- Lubrication oil station should be turned on and make sure that the system has been already lubricated and then turn on main engine. After crusher idling normally, switch on feeding machine.
- The crusher should stop feeding before stopping, and the mine should be all crushed and discharged, and then the circular vibrating and screening locomotive can be stopped, and finally closing the oil pump of the lubrication oil station.
- Before turning on pump of lubrication oil station, open the oil and water valve and turn on pressure gauge lubrication oil station.
- Adjust the pressure regulator so that the oil supply pressure is within the range of 0.08 to 0.2 MPa, and the oil temperature should be within the range of 30℃to 45℃. If the oil temperature is too low, turn the resistance heater to heat the oil.
- For the function of each electrical switch, please refer to the circuit description, and all the switches should be kept in the appropriate place.

How to detect hydraulic system
The hydraulic system is one of the important devices for the Symons cone crusher. When faults occur, the crusher often appears abnormal phenomenon in advance. Crusher should be checked and maintained regularly. Finding and removing small fault has great significance in the prevention of major fault.
- Before working, the hydraulic cone crusher system should be carefully checked whether the fasteners and pipe joints are loose or not, and whether the pipes are deformed or damaged.
- Hydraulic pump should be full of oil before first working so that to prevent idling destroying hydraulic pump.
- When the hydraulic pump works, it can be operated continuously (especially in cold areas) to see if the operation is flexible. The crusher starts working after confirming that the operation is normal and there is no abnormal noise.
- The pressure of distribution valve in hydraulic system can be changed by crusher if the value is more or less than specified value.
- After the hydraulic cone crusher system working stably, we should pay attention to the oil temperature, pressure, sound, etc., and also pay attention to the observation of hydraulic cylinders and motors, reversing valves, relief valves and other components, as well as the working condition of the crusher and oil leakage and vibration of the entire system.
