Customized Crushing Plants for Quarry, Mining, and Aggregate Production
A real, high-efficiency stone crushing plant is a synchronized setup where every conveyor, feeder, screen, and crusher works like a clock.
Whether you need a 50 TPH quarry plant, a 200 TPH aggregate crushing line, or a 1000+ TPH mining operation, your goal is simple: maximize your tons-per-hour (TPH) while keeping your cost-per-ton as low as possible.
Here is how you map out a crushing plant that actually makes money.
Know Your Feed Material
The type of stone you are crushing dictates your entire equipment checklist. We generally split rock into two types:
High-Hardness & Highly Abrasive Rock
(Granite, Basalt, Quartzite, River Stone, Iron Ore, Copper Ore)
For these rocks, you need compression crushing—meaning Jaw Crushers and Cone Crushers. They squeeze the stone until it breaks, minimizing wear and tear. If you try to use an impact crusher here, you will change blowbars every few days, and your profit will vanish.
Medium to Low-Hardness Rock
(Limestone, Dolomite, Calcite, Bluestone, Recycled Concrete)
Here, impact crushing (Impact Crushers) shines. They hit the rock at high speeds, delivering high reduction ratios and producing excellent, cubical particle shapes in fewer crushing stages.
| Material | Hardness | Recommended Process | End Products |
| Limestone | Soft / Medium | Jaw + Impact | Concrete Aggregate |
| Granite | Hard | Jaw + Cone | Railway Ballast |
| Basalt | Hard & Abrasive | Jaw + Cone + VSI | Highway Aggregate |
| River Stone | Medium-Hard | Jaw + Cone + VSI | Asphalt Aggregate |
| Construction Waste | Mixed Material | Mobile Crusher | Recycled Aggregate |
How the Stone Crushing Plant Works
A typical stone crushing plant follows a multi-stage process to ensure efficient reduction and precise particle sizing.
Step 1: Feeding (Pre-Screening)
Before rock enters the primary crusher, a heavy-duty Vibrating Feeder regulates the material flow. Integrated screen bars scalp out natural dirt, mud, and fine sand. This design prevents primary crusher clogging and reduces unnecessary liner wear.
Step 2: Primary Crushing (The Heavy Lifter)
For 90% of aggregate plants, the Jaw Crusher is the premier choice. It takes massive quarry boulders (up to 30 or 40 inches) and reduces them down to a manageable size (around 4 to 6 inches). Engineered with a heavy-duty frame and a deep crushing cavity, it focuses entirely on throughput and operational reliability.
Step 3: Secondary & Tertiary Crushing (Sizing & Shaping)
Once the rock leaves the jaw, it travels via conveyor to the secondary circuit.
- If you're processing hard rock, it goes to a Cone Crusher. Cone crushers run continuously under choke-fed conditions to maximize laminated crushing, optimizing efficiency.
- If you're processing softer stone, it goes to an Impact Crusher, which delivers a massive reduction ratio and cracks the stone into perfect shapes.
- If your local market demands premium concrete sand or has strict flakiness index limits (<15%), a VSI Crusher is integrated to strip away flaky edges and deliver perfect cubic geometry.
Step 4: Screening (The Revenue Phase)
A high-frequency Vibrating Screen segregates the mixed stone into into different aggregate sizes (e.g., 0–5 mm, 5–10 mm, 10–20 mm). To eliminate waste, any oversized fraction is automatically caught and returned to the secondary crusher via conveyors, creating a closed loop that guarantees 100% size compliance.
Mobile vs Stationary Crushing Plant
Before pouring concrete or ordering chassis, you need to align the plant with your business model. We don't just sell steel. We deliver the exact mobility or stability solution you need to maximize your margins.
- Choose a Mobile Crushing Plant If: You are a contractor handling short-term road projects, infrastructure contracts, or concrete recycling. Our Mobile Crushing Plants require zero concrete foundations and set up in 3 to 7 days. You can track the machine directly to the blast face, eliminating expensive hauling truck costs.
- Choose a Stationary Crushing Plant If: You run a long-term quarry operation (>2 years) targeting massive volumes (up to 1,000+ TPH). Our Stationary Crushing Plants are built for maximum heavy-duty stability. They deliver the lowest possible cost-per-ton over the plant's lifecycle.
Top-Selling Stone Crushing Plant Layouts
Here are three of our most popular, field-proven stone crushing plant configurations designed for single rock types.
1. 50-200 TPH Granite Crushing Plant (For Hard Rock)
- Material: Granite
- Equipment: Vibrating Feeder + Primary Jaw Crusher + Hydraulic Cone Crusher + Multi-deck Vibrating Screen + Belt Conveyors
- Why it works: Pure compression design. This setup limits wear and tear, slashing your monthly liner replacement costs by 25%.
2. 30-80 TPH Limestone Crushing Plant (For Medium-Soft Rock)
- Material: Limestone
- Equipment: Vibrating Feeder + Heavy Jaw Crusher + Impact Crusher + Circular Vibrating Screen
- Why it works: Huge reduction ratio. The impact crusher breaks limestone at high speeds, giving you high output and perfect cubical concrete aggregates in fewer steps.
3. 50-150 TPH River Stone Sand Making Plant (For Premium Aggregates)
- Material: River Stone / Pebble
- Equipment: Feeder + Jaw Crusher + Small Cone Crusher + VSI Crusher + Screen + Sand Washer
- Why it works: Premium manufactured sand (M-sand). The VSI crusher shapes the river stone to eliminate flaky particles, meeting strict building sand standards.
